Beta v1.1.4 Update
Dungeon Mori » Devlog
Hello again everyone! This time I have a small update for you, but with some small but helpful features that will probably make your experience a bit better.
*** Also, an important note, DO NOT load saves from versions earlier than Beta v1.1.0, they WILL crash your game!! ***
Well, with that out of the way, here's the list of changes.
New Features:
- Added Spell Slot scaling to your "Knowledge" Stat;
- Added Spell Slot display to the Dungeon Rewards and Player Statistics Screens;
- Added color presets to Hair and Eye Colors;
Changes:
- Decreased the starting Spell Slots to 2;
- Increased the power of the following spells:
- Fireball;
- Great Fireball;
- Changed some stat descriptions to more accurately reflect what they do;
- Shortened the text on the "White Swallow's Ring" so it no longer clips outside of the description box;
I hope you guys are enjoying the game, and as always, your feedback is valuable to me in order to improve it even further. I'll be working on more content in the meantime.

I like your game. Simplistic and nostalgic.
QoL suggestion: Some way to reduce time between clicks (setting to disable animation and even higher scroll speeds?). Instant resolution after a click is my preferred speed setting :)
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it!
If you're talking about text speed, I can implement more options in that regard to make it instant or almost instant. I appreciate your feedback!
That instgant speed setting would be appreciated.
Also, and this might be related to some obscure browser setting (I'm using Brave - Chromium), I'm experiencing an increase in lag, to such a degree that I have to reload the page to get rid of the lag. This occurs if I alt-tab to another program for a while and come back to the game (I have it open at work :P). By lag I mean that it takes several seconds for the browser to load an animation, missing clicks on buttons, etc. Almost like the browser clears some cache (power saving settings maybe?) while the tab is not active.
I'm playing the game in Brave on both Windows and Ubuntu OS and both have the same symptom. I don't see this lag issue if I have the browser game tab active at all times (aka. while playing the game).
Kudos to you for taking the time to make such a nice game... and free as well!
Oh, I see. I do use Brave too, and there's noticeable performance issues with it when playing web applications, especially games. The alt+tab issue happens even with the standalone game when I test it, so I'm still investigating it, unfortunately, but the lag itself is definitely a chromium thing.
And thank you for your comment, I'm glad you're enjoying it!
Looks like your game is really shaping up into something good - keep up the good work!
Thank you! I'll keep working on it :)
