The new version is finally here! This time we have some huge changes with an extensive changelog. The most exciting changes are probably the addition of visual features to some interfaces. Check these out:
New Title Screen!
New Town Interface!
And New Battle Background!
Now with that out of the way, here's the changelog for the new version!
New Features:
- Added stat descriptions shown when you hover your mouse over their icons;
- Added Starting Gifts descriptions;
- Added a new race: Felines;
- Added a new class: Deprived;
- Overhauled the entire Town Menu - Now features a visual representation of the town;
- Added backgrounds to the combats;
- Added a guaranteed chest when you reach a certain number of rooms traveled inside the dungeon;
- Added the following weapon skills:
- Bleeding Strike;
- Cleave;
- Envenomed Blade;
- Guard;
- Iai;
- Knight's Honor;
- Peasant Uprising;
- Primal Scream;
- Sword's Dance
- Unbalancing Strike;
- Added "Stone Skin" spell;
- Added the following items:
- Battle Axe;
- Dragonlord Shield;
- Plank Shield;
- Heavy Plate Armor;
- Reinforced Steel Shield;
- Ring of Magical Apprenticeship;
- Royal Soldier Tunic;
- Slime Sword;
- Slime Head;
- Small Lantern;
- Added a field showing how many of the highlighted item you currently have;
- Added the "Key Items" menu;
- Added a preview of your character on the save/load menu;
- Added an option to delete a save file;
- Added sound effects to certain actions;
- Added a new obtainable badge: "Slime Hunter";
Changes:
- Reworked the visual of some interfaces;
- Reworked the spell icons;
- Changed the color picker for skin color to presets according to each race;
- Rebalanced the Bonus Exp earned from the number of floors explored;
- Rebalanced the Exp given by certain enemies;
- Added more useful info to the bestiary;
- Adjusted the following Magic Spells:
- Antidote - reduced learning cost;
- Battle Cry - increased duration and reduced learning cost;
- Deep Cut - changed damage formula, increased bleed stacks and reduced learning cost;
- Fire Enchantment - increased duration and reduced learning cost;
- Fireball - changed description and reduced learning cost;
- Great Fireball - changed description and reduced learning cost;
- Great Healing - changed description;
- Heal - changed description and reduced learning cost;
- Iron Will - reduced learning cost;
- Light Healing - changed description and reduced learning cost;
- Panacea - reduced learning cost;
- Poisonous Fog - reduced learning cost;
- Restoration - reduced learning cost;
- Sharpen - increased bonus Critical Chance, fixed wrong text when used and reduced learning cost;
- Smoke Screen - changed so turns are counted on the enemy turn instead of yours and reduced learning cost;
- Stone Skin - reduced learning cost;
- Removed the "Wooden Club" weapon from the shop;
- Changed Pet Shop's name and added an unique NPC;
- Changed the unlocking progression for some menus;
- Increased the price of "Iron Dagger";
- Increased the price of "Broadsword";
- Increased the price of "Rapier";
- Decreased the price of the following items:
- Apple;
- Chicken Leg;
- Cooked Meat;
- Decreased the selling price of "Iron Club";
- Decreased Effect and selling price of the following items:
- HP Regen Ring;
- MP Regen Ring;
- Decreased HP/MP Regen of the following items:
- White Cleric Hat
- White Cleric Robe
- Reduced the Rapier's Critical Chance and Critical Damage modifiers;
- Changed Accessories so you can no longer equip two with identical names;
- Added a light effect to the character when you're equipped with a Torch;
- Increased the Magic Attack of the torch and also added a slight Drop Rate bonus;
- Decreased the HP gained from the "Goblin Slayer" badge;
- Decreased the price and effects of some rings (upgraded versions will be available in later versions);
- Rebalanced some stat scaling values;
- Rebalanced the starting classes' stats;
Bugfixes:
- Fixed a bug where enemies dropped way more loot than intended;
- Fixed Goblin Shaman attack crashing the game;
- Fixed Goblin Boss not using his healing spells;
- Fixed certain stats not tracking correctly;
- Fixed certain event texts showing the wrong damage numbers;
- Fixed initial stats not displaying correctly on the character creation screen;
- Fixed these specific items/spells not working as intended:
- Iron Will;
- Lacerating Knife;
- Poisoned Knife;
- Fixed the "Bleed" status effect not working as intended;
- Fixed a bug where the Junk Buyer shop would duplicate items in the inventory sometimes;
- Fixed your Gold value display not updating on the small screen in the Town menu;
- Fixed spells damage penetration not working as intended;
- Fixed a bug when trying to cast spells while afflicted by status effects;
Known Issues:
- Sometimes the game permanently freezes when leaving the game window;
- Old saves won't work and will result in crashes (currently working on a workaround/save export function for the next versions);
