So, whats up with the versioning and where is the changelog?

Don't actually know where you put the games changelog(s), but I'm guessing they go on this site under "Development log".

Name of file package changed from "Dungeon Mori - Demo v1.3.0 Loose Files" to "Dungeon Mori - Itch Demo v0.1.0 Loose Files" a couple of days ago.

Cosmetic changes only?

I need to post a new devlog explaining this, but basically I'm preparing for a full version release on Steam (and maybe itch too, later), so to preserve parity with both versions I'll now adopt this versioning method instead of the older one. There are a lot of small bugfixes, besides cosmetic changes, and this is pretty much the same version as the future public demo on  Steam. This is definitely the recommended version of the game for now.

Do you have an ETA for the Steam page or maybe an ETA for the game launch on Steam?

LOVE this game, but my save gets deleted every time I come back, maybe its because I'm playing on browser, but its pretty annoying to see my progress constantly removed even if I save like 5 times. A potential solution could be to allow saving the save file to your computer so that you can load it back in if your safe is removed when you return.

Thank you for your reply, I'm glad you like the game! This issue probably has something to do with your cookies settings. Unfortunately, it is a quirk of the engine that this  and a few other bugs are only present on the browser version, and currently there isn't anything I can do to manage the browser version save files :/ . The downloadable version is far more stable and I strongly recommend it over the browser version.

If I could play the downloadable version I would T-T 

My computer is so bad I can't even  download games so I can only play browser games :')

This reminds me of some old web game. I really like it, I hope you will be able to create an android version as well.

Hello sir I just want to report what i encountered. I have exactly 3 knowledge (280 mana) and when i want to cast spell "deep cut" which costs also 280 mana  - i get error saying that i cannot cast generic spell due to some value beign 10 instead of 11..
 But anyway - you have makings of very good and fun game here ! Watch chineese anime "The richest man in game" and try to do their business model and im sure it will be a great hit ! :D Keep it going ! :)

Demo v1.1.0 minor bugs

• Visual bug. Village inn Character Statistic page, not displaying same Stat points allocated in dungeon stat page

• Spell shop, spell can't be Cancelled if spell been selected, error message appears when trying to cancel. 

• Can't equip duplicate items in different Accessories slots. (Probably intentional right?)

• Duplicate quests, might been caused by binning quests?


Thank you for reporting them! The accessories are intentional, other than that they're all bugs. Does the duplicate quests still appear when you reenter the menu after leaving? Will look into all of that!

Nevermind, managed to replicate and possibly fix that, it's fixed for the next version, thank you once again! :)

Been enjoying the game a lot so far. There's a minor issue where I keep getting this error message at the bottom of the screen, though it is pretty easy to ignore. If there was a way to disable that from appearing on the screen though that would be great.

I'm also probably just missing something, but I've cleared goblin lair a few times and haven't seen any other dungeons yet. Are there specific conditions to get access to them or are they not added yet?

Thank you for reporting, the current build is a bit outdated, so a few bugs that I've already fixed like this are still present, I should update the demo soon. This version of the game will only contain the first dungeon, while I'm working on the full game that will have 12 dungeons in total.

I see. I'm looking forward to further updates and the full release since this is a lot of fun so far. I'll certainly buy the full version when it comes out.

Traps giving Exp with decimal numbers overlapping other text.  
Is there a method to export Saves from each Windows Demo versions?

Oops, seems like I messed up the rounding, will fix it asap. Yeah, the save files are inside the game's folder, iirc it's in Documents>001>Dungeon Mori, but do note that save files may sometimes break or have missing features between versions.

for some reason the "sell loot" action seems to crash the game
so don't forget to save before you sell some stuff

When the goblins attack me, it gets the pronouns mixed up -- "You attack" instead of "It attacks"/"They attack."

Save slots keep turning up empty. Not sure what triggers it, but I'm guessing my browser does some kind of hopusekeeping and purges files it should not. Is there a way to backup saves ?

Other stuff:

- Poison carries over from one fight to another in slime forest. If re-poisoned in second fight the status icon does not show (hp still ticks down). Does not carry over when next fight is the slime cube... it seems.

- Using the spell Antidote freezes the game (only tried it once)

- Status icons in slime forest not showing, only the outline of the icons. Don't know if this happens to all icons, but being poisoned and the spell restoration at least.

- In one of my saves (new game with beta 1.1.4) game froze when clicking a shop. Char was lvl 17 at that time and I'd been using the shop up until then. Had to abandon that save.

Hey, thank you for reporting all of these! Currently there's no way to backup saves, in the next version I'll make a downloadable version available since some recurring issues seem to be due to the browser version.

I'm trying to reproduce the poison bug, maybe I accidentally fixed in my current version but I'll keep an eye for that. Antidote bug is fixed for the next version, thank you again for pointing it out, and the status icons seem to be an issue with the browser version too.

Luckily everything should be way more stable in the future non-browser version!

Bug report: On a new save, I bought the dark furball but whenever I try to equip it, the game freezes. I refreshed it many times but got the same problem

Thank you for informing me. Pets are still bugged, but I've already fixed the issue for the next update. Should take some time since I'm adding content too, but it should work when the update comes.

Love how the goblin dungeon is better - chests pay out, and more opportunities to get more loot. Thank you for the hard work that you do.
